- Elevated customer value at Jeju branch located 2 km from the airport based on digital service and diverse new rental car models
- billycar branch continuing its economic and reasonable service in Ihoil-dong, Jeju
- “We will raise customer satisfaction with our service tailored to various customer needs by each branch in Jeju”

Taking the lead in raising Jeju travelers’ satisfaction by operating the largest rental car business in Korea, SK rent-a-car (CEO: Hwang Il-moon) switched two branches on Jeju Island to offer better services.

With an aim to improve customer convenience and reinforce the rental car business focusing on eco-friendly vehicles, SK rent-a-car moved its Jeju branch to the location of billycar branch close to Jeju Airport (62, Yongmun-ro, Jeju-si) from its previous site in Ihoil-dong.

Accordingly, the Jeju branch is currently located 2 km from the airport, bringing higher accessibility for customers. It is only three minutes away from the airport by shuttle bus. Visitors in Jeju are now able to quickly choose a variety of new car models provided by SK rent-a-car Jeju branch.

A non-face-to-face rental function converged with digital technology, ‘Quick Departure Service’ is also applied to support an easy and convenient pickup for customers.

On top of that, the company plans to transform the Jeju branch into an EV-dedicated complex, which is expected to give a number of customers opportunities to experience newly launched EVs in the future.

billycar branch is currently located about 10 minutes away from the airport by shuttle bus (6, Deokji 2-gil, Jeju-si) following location switch. It continues its economic and reasonable services optimized for customers.

SK rent-a-car plans to enrich the value of both branches as places for meeting the diverse needs of tourists visiting Jeju Island.

“Various customers visit Jeju. There are honeymooners enjoying luxury tours, long-term guests staying for more than a month, and individual travelers who care about economic value. Responding to them, each branch will meet the diverse customer needs to increase customer satisfaction,” said an SK rent-a-car official. He also emphasized, “we will also establish an eco-friendly rental business system in line with the ‘Carbon Free Island (CFI) 2030’ policy.”

Since the launch of the integrated corporation last year, SK rent-a-car has operated the existing SK rent-a-car branch in Jeju as the Jeju branch and the AJ rent-a-car branch as the billycar branch. Recently, the company announced its plan to create the largest scale electric vehicle-exclusive complex in Korea where 3,000 EVs can be rented and charged in the branch near the airport (62, Yongmun-ro, Jeju-si) by 2025 in partnership with the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
