SK networks on regular organizational restructuring and executive reshuffle for 2022

Under the structural stabilization of the business in general, SK networks announced that a regular organizational restructuring and executive reshuffle is made for 2022 to identify promising business areas and enhance seeding investment. SK networks also singled out leaders with execution capabilities and expertise in addition to an executive reshuffle targeting synergy benefits from human resource exchange between SK networks and investors.
In order to identify new growth engines and drive changes, SK networks reorganized the Investment Management Center into the ‘Global Investment Center’ so that intensive investment on global seeding can be made. It also selected block chain as a new business area and newly established the Blockchain business Division. Through this, it will be sought to combine the existing business with blockchain and increase the values offered to the customers while at the same time blockchain-related investment and business expansion will be strengthened. In addition, the ICT Business Development Division is organized to identify new ICT business opportunities and a decision is made to develop the automotive parts business, previously under the SpeedMate business unit, by reorganizing it as an independent business unit.
Through this executive reshuffle, two new executives were appointed, two were transferred out to subsidiaries and one were transferred in from a subsidiary.
An SK networks executive said, “We will strive to build our business portfolio to lead the future growth, establish financial stories and enhance execution capabilities for sustained business model innovation.”
